Dr. Larry Perez is the founder and Senior Pastor of U-Turn Covenant Church in Northlake, Illinois, an affiliate of New Life Covenant Church (Chicago) and the Assemblies of God. He also founded the Turn Center, a community-based nonprofit, and serves as a Trustee for MCIN and a director of the New Life Association, supporting pastors in church planting, leadership, and evangelism. Larry has served as National Youth Director for the Young Defenders Ministry, hosted TBN Salsa, and led international ministry conferences. He holds a B.A. in Communications from Northeastern Illinois University, a MACM from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ministerial Doctorate from Southeastern University. He lives in Illinois with his wife, Pastor Yezenia Perez, and their three children.
Pastor Alex is a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor with over 15 years of experience in youth ministry, carrying a deep heart for the next generation and a strong desire to see young people grow in their faith, purpose, and identity in Christ. His leadership is marked by authenticity, energy, and a genuine commitment to life transformation. Alongside him is his wife, Pastor Stephanie, who faithfully serves by his side and shares the same passion for ministry. Together, they are raising their two boys, modeling what it means to love God and serve others, as Pastor Alex continues to reflect a true devotion to both his family and his calling.
Pastor Cristin “Coco” Palmer is a dedicated and energetic Kids Pastor with many years of experience working with children, helping them grow in faith, confidence, and joy. She also serves as the director of the dance ministry, bringing creativity, passion, and movement into worship. Pastor Coco’s heart for guiding the next generation shines through her teaching, mentoring, and playful approach, making every child feel valued and loved in the church community.
