Dr. Larry and Pastor Yezenia Perez are the founders and lead pastors of U-Turn Covenant Church in Northlake, Illinois, an affiliate of New Life Covenant Church (Chicago) and the Assemblies of God. Married for more than 20 years, they are blessed with three children and have dedicated their lives to serving God, strengthening families, and reaching their community with the Gospel.
Dr. Larry also founded The Turn Center, a community-based nonprofit, and has served in leadership roles supporting pastors in church planting, leadership, and evangelism. His ministry experience includes serving as National Youth Director for Young Defenders Ministry, hosting TBN Salsa, and leading international ministry conferences. He holds a B.A. in Communications, a MACM, and a Ministerial Doctorate from Southeastern University.
Pastor Yezenia has faithfully served alongside Dr. Larry throughout their ministry journey, sharing a passion for people, ministry, and the local church. Together, they continue to lead U-Turn Covenant Church with a vision to see lives transformed and the Kingdom of God advanced.
Pastor Pito and Daisy Soberal serve as Associate Pastors at U-Turn Covenant Church, overseeing pastoral care for the church’s ministries and English-speaking congregation. They are passionate about caring for people, strengthening families, and helping others grow in their relationship with Christ.
Married for 19 years, Pastor Pito and Daisy are blessed with two children. Pastor Pito is a contractor, while Daisy works in Human Resources. Together, they are honored to serve the U-Turn family and walk alongside people through every season of life.
Pastor Alex is a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor with over 15 years of experience in youth ministry, carrying a deep heart for the next generation and a strong desire to see young people grow in their faith, purpose, and identity in Christ. His leadership is marked by authenticity, energy, and a genuine commitment to life transformation. Alongside him is his wife, Pastor Stephanie, who faithfully serves by his side and shares the same passion for ministry. Together, they are raising their two boys, modeling what it means to love God and serve others, as Pastor Alex continues to reflect a true devotion to both his family and his calling.
Pastor Rodney and Yolanda Beaudion have been faithful members of the U-Turn Covenant Church family for many years. Married for 32 years, they are blessed with one child and have a deep passion for serving the church and investing in the lives of others.
As Associate Pastors, they will oversee spiritual formation and discipleship for the English-speaking congregation, helping people grow deeper in their faith, develop as disciples, and take their next steps in their relationship with Christ.
Pastor Coco is a dedicated and energetic Kids Pastor with many years of experience working with children, helping them grow in faith, confidence, and joy. She also serves as the director of the dance ministry, bringing creativity, passion, and movement into worship. Pastor Coco’s heart for guiding the next generation shines through her teaching, mentoring, and playful approach, making every child feel valued and loved in our church.

Pastors Alex and Elisa Lugo serve as Campus Pastors of U-Turn Chicago. In 2016, they launched the Chicago campus with a passion to reach their community, city, and world with the gospel of hope.
Their driving passion is to represent God to the lost and found, leading people toward transformation in Christ. Together, they are blessed with three children and are committed to building a church that reaches people, strengthens families, and points others to Jesus.
Jessica Rivera is a preacher, teacher, trainer, and coach with more than 30 years of experience equipping others to grow in faith and purpose. She holds a Master of Divinity and serves on the pastoral team at U-Turn Chicago. A gifted communicator and devotional writer, Jessica is passionate about helping people encounter biblical truth in ways that transform how they see God, themselves, and what is possible. Her life and ministry reflect a deep commitment to spiritual growth, strong families, lifelong learning, and helping others build lives of faith, wisdom, purpose, and legacy.
Pastors Richard and Margarita Trinidad serve as the Campus Pastors of U-Turn Orlando. Originally from Chicago, they followed God’s call to plant a life-giving church in Orlando where people could experience transformation through an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
With a strong heart for discipleship, they are passionate about helping people connect with God, grow in their faith, and live out their God-given purpose. Together, they are blessed with two children, Haven and Harmony, and are committed to seeing lives transformed, families strengthened, and the Gospel reach Orlando and beyond.
