1 Corinthians 2:9-12 “However, as it is written: “what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived- the things God has prepared for those who love him. These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”

This whole week we have been returning back to God our “Living Water.” He alone refreshes us and gives us back the vision, walk, talk, and cleanses us from all things. We have prayed for God to revive His work in our lives and in this generation to come. All this is needed but along with these desires, we must ask God to give us eyes to see what His Spirit is doing. Paul in this scripture is letting us know that we can only proclaim and do things because it is God’s Holy Spirit that gives us this wisdom and this desire. As we look forward in the weeks to come as we take on this new year, let us ask God for the leading of His Spirit, because it is, He who knows all things, and the deep things of God. Even the areas in which we have not seen yet or understood. God has hidden things from man, but he reveals them to those He loves.

Prayer: “God I pray that we may come to an understanding that we need your “Living Water” to rise up in us like never before. May your Spirit rise up within us and give us the wisdom that is needed as we press on forward towards your higher calling in our lives. May your Spirit lead us and show us those things that only we can see through him and may we move with the wisdom that only your Spirit can give us. In Jesus Name, amen!”
