Colossians 3: 1-3 “Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”

When Paul wrote this, he was focusing on practical Christian living, with the clear understanding that practical Christian living is built on the foundation of theological truth. Because we know that Jesus is really raised from the dead, then our identification with Him becomes real. When we come to understanding we were raised with Christ in salvation, then we also should act just as Jesus did when he was resurrected.

For the next couple of days let us take a look at what exactly Jesus did in the resurrection and how we should be applying this in our lives today. Let us focus this week on the importance of living a Resurrected Life.

Prayer:  Please Lord as we take the moment to meditate on your word. Help us reflect on your resurrection so that we may apply these principles in our everyday living, so that we may become more than conquerors. I speak this over every person who is reading this, and may we grow to become the men and women of God that you have called us to be.
