Psalm 106:1-5 “Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love endures forever. Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord or fully declare his praise? Blessed are they who maintain justice, who constantly do what is right. Remember me, O Lord, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them, that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen on es, that I may share in the joy of your nation.”

This Psalm gives a detailed confession of the sins of Israel in all periods of their history, with special reference to the terms of the covenant as intimated. It is introduced by praise to God for the wonders of His mercy and It also ends with Praise to the Lord. Everything we do should began  and end with Praise unto the Lord. When we have a current understanding of what Jesus has done for us and what He is constantly doing through His grace and mercy we should always be in thanksgiving and praise to the Lord.

This is a good practice to do. The psalmist also takes the time to ask the Lord to remember them as he blesses and shows favor to his people. I believe we also can ask the Lord to remember us as we pray and show us favor so we too can prosper in all that we do.

Today, let us just be reminded of what he did back then and believe that he will just do it again for our lives. Just like he parted the Red Sea for the children of Israel, let us say ‘do it again’ Lord with this virus we are still facing today. Make a way Lord in our finances, in our homes. Bring healing again like you did then!

Prayer: Lord, we take the time to Praise you and to acknowledge you as our king! You reign over all the earth, and we know that you love us dearly. Please remember us as we go on with our day. Show us your favor over our lives as we face the challenges up ahead and give us the strength so that we can endure all that comes our way! Like you did it for them Lord, Do it Again!
